Lions head

All kinds of people hike up Lions Head – the peak next to South Africa’s most famous mountain – Table Mountain. There is no cable way like with its more famous sibling so the only way up is using your feet. A 40 minute hike up provides you with stunning views of the Cape Town and its surrounds. And if you do so early morning or late afternoon, you get to see fantastic scenes of sun rises or moon sets. But this post is not about that. These photographs were taken on Friday mornings of people who hike up. Some casual first timers, some regular hikers like me and my mates and some who has made it part of their fitness regime.
